Insurance CRM
The automated workplace of the insurance broker.
This project was realized for a big commercial company, which works on a field of insurance. Insurance CRM allows easy customizing and can be used in other insurance organizations.
АРМ is a documents control system that contains next secions:
- contracts
- clients
- tasks
- payments
- statements
- middlemen
- companies, that provide insurance
Users get access to data according to their rights. For a case with our customer next levels of rights were created:
- Guest — web page with authorization form and a function of reminding password are available for all web site's visitors.
- Manager — is a broker, who works with a customers.
- Supervisor — user that has this rights can control manager.
- Accountant — has access to information about payments and statements.
- Foreign middleman — has access to section about clients.
- Administrator — has all rights.
Let's take a look at all sections, their features and purposes.
Contracts
Contains contracts about insurance. Management of contracts is carried out through the handy user's interface. Contracts section is displayed as list, where each item has necessary attributes. The last one are selected when manager creates new document:
- Number of a contract.
- Contracts status. For example, client has contract, contract is signed by client, insurance company has contract etc.
- Number of a contract in insurance company.
- Name of an insurance company.
- Natural (legal) person.
- Name of a client (name of a client's company)
- Type of insurance.
- The Sum which it is necessary to pay
Users of Insurance CRM can view contracts, add applications etc. Manager can edit contracts that he owns. Supervisor can view and edit all contracts.
Tasks
After user entered data to create new contract, Insurance CRM forms a list of tasks for a broker.
Each task consists of:
- Deadline. The end date to resolve task.
- Object. For example, getting payment.
- Action to do after task is resolved and comments.
Insurance CRM has reminding function that forms list with dates and task to do. Manager has access only to his own tasks and supervisor can control execution of all tasks.
Clients
Broker can add new clients. Clients are divided on natural and legal persons. So, different information are stored about them. For natural persons it is passport's data and identification code. For legal persons it is number of settlement's account, certificate of VAT payer etc. Also, if client was involved by middleman — additional data can be stored.
Payments
This section contains data about all payments that client has to make. Payments are formed automatically according to terms of a contract. Users, that have corresponding rights, can confirm payments that were done by client.
Statements
Accountant can view, edit, create and delete statements. Each statement contains next information:
- Number of a statement.
- Period.
- Sum of an insurance payments.
- Sum of commission.
- Payment date.
Companies, that provide insurance
This section contains data like name, address, common data about insurance companies etc.
Management
Handy and easy editors make work with Insurance CRM very simple. Each section (from the aforementioned) has it's own editor, but using them are very similar. Editors have different function for searching, sorting, filtering data.
Insurance CRM backups information everyday, so there is ability to restore data if needed.
